DESCRIPTION: The classes are a user friendly practice open to everyone, to nurture balanced wellness in every aspect of the class. Held in the space you make time for in the environment of your choice. It is a mix of participants of all age groups, diversities, from the beginner to experienced. So far we have attendees that are tuning in from New York, Hawaii, Los Angeles, Denver and Seattle.
VIDEO: You can choose to show yourself on video or to be hidden. This month of August is a test run and I am still working on the technical details. Microphone, music, late attendees, etc..
SET UP: The classes are delivered via zoom.com and RSVP is required. Download the app and you will be able to connect from your phone, laptop, computer or ipad.
YOUR SPACE: Set up your spot so there are no distractions. Answering phone calls during the class may disconnect you from the session and there will be a wait for you to connect back in to the session. A yoga mat is recommended and the practice is generally done barefoot. Have water, towel, strap, yoga blocks, blanket if available.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Breathwork, gentle yoga practice, guided meditation, feeling relaxed and refreshed afterward
A favorite class for those that prefer mat based postures and holding long stretches. Yin helps to cool the body down and release any tensions that accumulate in the physical and emotional body. This class moves gradually into deepening each shape to find your threshold and to relax into that edge. Storytelling with yoga philosophy enriches the experience and you do not need to be flexible or advanced. It is open for all levels.
Class will begin with easeful breath work, then syncing breath with movement, leading to the shaping of the essential yoga postures with modified options for all levels. We complete the practice with a relaxed restorative postures while being guided through meditation for the ultimate transcendental experience. This moment in time dedicated to building a sanctuary where the you will feel connected and eventually think of it more than just a class, but a personal journey to align with the highest Self.
Sunrise Stretch + Meditation - 30 minutes Friday's - 6 am (HST), 10 am (PST) / 12 pm (EST)
Start your day honoring the sun and experiencing the best show on earth. The sun that gives us light to see the beauty that the day brings. 15 minutes of light stretching and 15 minutes of meditation is all it takes to soak in this wonderful experience.
Sunrise Yoga + Meditation for Munchkins - 30 Minutes Monday's - 6 am (HST), 10 am (PST) / 12 pm (EST)
Inspired by kindergarten class of 2019 in New York's Chelsea area. These amazing munchkins allowed me into their space to guide them through 15 minutes of yoga and 15 minutes of meditation. Continuing on with this wonderful experience online with the New York kindergarteners online with the real time scene of the ocean in Hawaii and new sun of the day.
