Settle in for a serene flowing practice with low lighting and candles. Open to all levels, this well-rounded class blends pranayama (breathing techniques) and basic asana (postures), with variations available for the seasoned yogi. Class finishes with restorative postures and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) to release the tensions that lie deep within the physical and energetic bodies. Visualizations and mantra encourage students to relax the active mind, embrace the inward journey and eventually arrive in a space of inner stillness, a place of peace, balance, pure joy and love. Mats, bolsters and blankets are provided.
Gentle Flow and Meditation 2nd and 4th Saturday's : 8:00-9:30 am (Starting May 11th) Salt at Kakaako Connecting back to land and nature and nurturing the spirit of the elements of earth, water, fire, air and space that reside in us. This practice will touch upon Hawaiian mythology and yogic wisdom to kindle our innate divine power, unlimited potential, and honor the expressions of our pure heart. This is a friendly morning practice open to everyone, to nurture balanced wellness in every aspect of the class. Held in the barn which is an expansive creative space able to hold a large group with a mix of participants of all age groups, diversities, from the beginner to experienced. Class will begin with easeful breath work, then syncing breath with movement, leading to the shaping of the essential yoga postures with modified options for all levels. We complete the practice with a relaxed restorative postures while being guided through meditation for the ultimate transcendental experience. This moment in time dedicated to building a sanctuary where the participants will feel connected and eventually think of it more than just a class, but a personal journey to align with the highest Self.

Ayurveda Flow and Guided Meditation Thursday's : 7:00-8:00 pm (Starting May 16) Kekoa Collective As a sister science to yoga, Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old ancient Indian system of natural healing designed to integrate the balance between our mind, body, spirit and environment. A few key concepts from Ayurveda can change the way we approach our yoga practice and lead us towards performing optimally in our physical, mental and spiritual health. Based off of the five elements of earth, water, fire air and space that reside in us, we will flow through the practice utilizing breath work techniques, holding postures and meditation to guide us towards a balanced state. The practice is designed to discover our natural tendencies, strengths, weaknesses and to use the body of wisdom to elevate your vitality and realize your full human potential.
